Four By Four Construction, with its headquarters in La Jolla, was established as a California Corporation and General Contractor in 1991 by its owners: Jeff Fargo, Dean Fargo and David Fargo. They each began their construction careers by working through high school and college as concrete and framing journeyman. After obtaining their college degrees they continued their careers at Fargo Industries Corporation as superintendents for various residential projects. As they gained experience they progressed to project managers and construction coordinators. All together they combined 45 years of construction experience to form Four By Four Construction.

Due to their experience, the Fargos are able to select the best skilled tradesmen as well as the most qualified subcontractors available and are able to manage and construct all types of construction projects large and small.

Four By Four's construction operations are separated into residential and commercial divisions, each directed by an experienced manager. An advisory committee comprised of President Jeff Fargo, Vice Presidents Dean and David Fargo, and Senior Assistants reviews and guides all construction operations of the company. Each project is planned in detail and continually updated through its progress.

The La Jolla office is currently staffed with highly qualified personnel in the following areas:
